I've noticed lately that a lot of noobs post on their ban appeals how something wasn't griefing or stealing. I figure I would elaborate what a few of the terms mean. That way maybe we'll have less noobs being banned by not knowing what we mean by these terms. A few of our rules aren't really explained.
Griefing- Means breaking blocks that are not placed by you. This means any builds unprotected in the wilderness ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE TOUCHED. If you forgot to protect, you wouldn't want someone taking your blocks and ruining your hard work.
Stealing- Taking blocks that aren't yours, items left floating on the ground, or unlocked chests, these constitute stealing. Items left floating on the ground are left over from someone dying. It's wrong to take them because that person might be coming back for those items. Unlocked chests are there for like people sharing chests that don't know how to use /lwc.
No caps- The reason why we have this rule is that they can be really annoying and is considered spam.
Spam- Using caps in an entire sentence. Repeating letters over and over again. Saying the same message over and over again through chat.
Don't Disrespect Staff- This one is a big one because noobs don't realize what disrespect is. Disrespect is where you are rude to someone because they don't do what you want.
No cheating- Cheating is where you either, don't own up to a deal like trading, or you killed someone unfairly in pvp. Or using hacks such as fly mod when you haven't donated or using nodus.
No Trolling- Trolling is for example like telling someone your famous and they really believe you. It's not allowed and not cool. Especially for noobs.
Talk in English- We ask this because, we want everyone to be able to enjoy talking to each other through global. But, since not everyone can understand all languages, it's just easier for you to talk in foreign languages through /msg to that player.
Don't be annoying- purposely enraging people such as spamming someone's chest shop because you think it's funny, when the other doesn't.
Not following these rules can get you banned. You can always make a ban appeal but it could be denied.
No using Potions in overworld- meaning trying to kill someone with them in like portalhub or spawn.
No killing in the overworld- no pvp or raiding at all.
Noobs- This just means your new to the server and need help.
I hope this helps you understand why we have these rules.
